Being an employee owned trust, it’s important to us to not only be a company that cares about our people and our community, but also that everyone in our team gets a say in the work we do. That includes our charity work.
Work that makes a difference Every quarter at Damia Group we choose a different charity to support. Why? Because we want our work to have a positive impact — on our partners and our talent of course, but also more widely on people and places we might never work with, but who rely on the support of individuals and corporates to help them continue to make a difference.
Before the start of each quarter, we put it to the vote, asking our team which good cause they’d like us to support next. This quarter, it was agreed that Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham should be our charity of the quarter.
Why we chose this charity Phyllis Tuckwell offers end of life care and support to adults and their families living with a terminal illness. Contrary to popular belief, hospices only receive a minority of their funding from the government; the rest they have to raise themselves, and we are only too glad to be playing even a tiny part in this.

How we fundraise To raise money over the next few months for Phyllis Tuckwell, we’ll be running our office tuckshop. Damia Group funds the stock, and all proceeds go to the charity.
If we ever needed an excuse to tuck in to our favourite snacks, now we have a great one. We would add that healthy alternatives are also available from the tuckshop (they’re just not as popular!).
