What excites you most about working in the tech transformation sector?
Supplying security cleared talent across central government, defence and intelligence to consulting clients and SMEs who deliver on high-impact, critical programmes.
How do you see the future of the sector changing?
There’s a growing need for cleared talent across government and defence sectors. As digital transformation accelerates in these areas, I believe the demand for skilled, security-cleared professionals will only continue to rise.
Tell us a bit about your own professional journey
I began my career at Damia Group as an account associate and have progressed to a senior account associate. I am now moving into an account management role, where I oversee some of our key clients. The journey has been practical and growth-focused — built on experience, persistence and a deepening understanding of the sector, rather than shortcuts.
What’s been the most rewarding project or placement you’ve worked on?
Growing my own network to over 6,000 professionals on LinkedIn and building a dedicated community of 1,000+ security-cleared individuals has been incredibly rewarding. It’s become a valuable space for connecting cleared talent with opportunities across government and defence — something that continues to add value for both talented candidates and client partners.
What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned in your career so far?
Relationships matter more than transactions. When you focus on building trust and really understanding people, you end up with better outcomes for everyone. It’s never just about filling a role — it’s about the long-term fit.
What part of your role gives you the greatest sense of purpose?
Helping security cleared professionals find roles where they can truly make a difference.
Knowing that I’ve placed the right person to the right project is incredibly fulfilling.
