People Advisor

*People Advisor (Compensation, Benefits and Systems) – £30 – 35,000 per annum + 5% bonus – Marlow*

We are looking for a People Advisor to join a client of ours in Marlow. They are an IT consultancy who provide retail enterprise management solutions. This position will be a key member of the HR team and will suit someone with an administration background who is analytical and has strong HRIS experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of employee administration across EMEA in the areas of HRIS / Compensation / Benefits / Employment. Support the North American Compensation & Benefits team as needed.
  • Process various data relating to human resources activities such as new-hire, change of status, benefits, terminations etc.
  • Maintain the starters and leavers process, including on-boarding, new hire orientations and exit interviews.
  • Respond to external reference requests
  • Diarise actions points; probationary period and follow up with the appropriate person
  • HRIS Super User, provide relevant control mechanisms to the maintenance of data and specific business support (e.g. building time off plans).
  • Maintain accurate employee records for global employees through the HRIS including regular Audits
  • Compilation of management information reports, metrics & calculations were needed.
  • Benefits administration & support the renewal / open enrolment process
  • Support the delivery of compensation programmes including the annual merit process, incentives, and job broadbanding evaluations.
  • Maintain employee background screening process
  • Attend case management meetings with the People Partner and record minutes, as needed.

Required skills and experience:

  • Able to work both in a team and independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong compensation calculation / excel experience
  • Appreciation of keeping to deadlines and your impact on the rest of the business.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships across the business
  • Confidentiality in this post is paramount. Experience in a HR team preferable.
  • Strong HRIS & Analytical background

  • Comfort in dealing with employees at all levels of the business
  • The successful candidate would ideally be working towards a HR qualification, or aspires to a career within the profession
  • Foreign language beneficial but not essential
