**Information Security Consultant – 4-6 Month Inside IR35 – £595 per day – Leatherhead/Hybrid**
We are looking for an Information Security Assurance Specialist with extensive experience working within MOD/MOJ. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of the security vetting process, security aspects, Government Security Classification Scheme (Official, Official Sensitive, Secret and Top Secret) and how and where to apply it to information security documentation.
Location: Leatherhead – Hybrid, 1 day a week in the office
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for developing policies and processes in relation to working on secure project sites (MOD/MOJ). Creating a defined set of procedures including, information handling requirements, into business project templates and developing a governance approval structure and an account review process for project staff working on secure SharePoint sites.
Must Have Experience/Skills
- Extensive experience working with the Ministry of Defense and Justice
- Previous experience writing policies and procedures for secure MOD/MOJ projects
- Experience assessing SharePoint organisational structure and user access management
- Extensive knowledge of Government ISN’s (JSP-440)
- Experience with Supply Chain Security (DEFCON 658/659A/660 and DEFSTAN 05-138)
- Experience working with security vetting processes
- GRC/Information Assurance experience
- Thorough understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, HMG Security Framework, NIST, CIS)
- Extensive understanding of Government Classification Marking Schemes
