Front-End Software Engineer (Angular)

Front-End Software Engineer (Angular) – Remote – Contract – Inside IR35 – £650 per day

A global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation is looking for a Front-End Developer with Angular experience – this role has a specific focus on digital transformation within a major government department.

Responsibilities and Experience

• Senior experience with a good understanding of best practices in UX/Front End design and the ability to work closely with UX interaction designers and back-end developers
• Good working experience with REST APIs and integration
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/SVN
• Experience with Javascript, CSS e.g., CSS3, pre-processors SASS ,HTML5, Bootstrap, JQuery, Node.js, Ajax, IE8 and IE11, AngularJS, Angular2, Grunt, Karma, Mocha, Chai, TDD/BDD, Selenium, code refactoring, and coding with responsive frameworks
• Creation of Scoping Documentation to ensure a clear understanding of deliverables
• Ability to work in tightknit squads which include the Customer, Java Developers, Front End Designer, and Business Analyst to develop front-end code based on wireframes and roadmaps
• As the role will be primarily customer/user facing applicant must have excellent analytical and communication skills
• Previous experience or knowledge of Agile methods particularly Scrum
• Experience with the GDS guidelines/platform
• Need to be able to obtain 5 years’ working references.
