Asset and Procurement Administrator

**Asset and Procurement Administrator – 3-month Contract – Leading construction Company – £140-£150 per day**

A UK wide construction company is seeking an Asset and Procurement Administrator on a three month contract, to be based in their Leatherhead office; the Asset and Procurement Administrator is responsible for the procurement of IT products to the business, assisting in the administration of all IT assets and the invoicing & recharging cycle. While the majority of your day-to-day work will involve internal administration with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), strong customer-service skills are preferred as your work may involve talking to external customers.


  • Control of all IT Procurement from order to invoice, ensuring that all procedures are followed
  • Ordering of all hardware and software from 3rd party vendors
  • Prepare and manage the invoice process
  • Working in line with agreed Service Levels / KPi’s
  • Review and identify areas of improvement in the procurement process
  • Monthly reporting

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Experience in customer management
  • General understanding of Procurement and Asset management in an IT environment
  • Ability to follow documented policy and processes
  • At least 12 months experience in a procurement and asset environment
  • Knowledge and expert use of Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
  • Ability to work with 3rd party service providers
  • Ability to manage time effectively and to prioritise calls where appropriate
  • Effective written and oral skills
