PMO Junior Finance Analyst – Finance Analyst – Public Sector – Glasgow – 6 months contract – £100 – £130 per day

The key role of the Junior Finance Analyst is to successfully execute the agreed process for staff assignments; assist with the monthly finance process and support the wider team in the Programme Management Office (PMO).
The successful candidate will be instrumental in embedding these key processes into the programme and supporting the transition of this role to a Secondee member following service take on. This is 6-8 month assignment .

The Junior Finance Analyst will be responsible for :

? Assist with staff assignment requests and managing timesheet adjustments.
? Keep the Assignments tracker up-to-date.
? Monitor and organise the Programme mailbox(es).
? Manage finance related diary reminders to support the PRT Month end process (for PRT Submission deadlines; Health Check Report deadlines; invoice milestones; and monthly PRT Forecast Review Meetings)
? Keep the Purchase Order and Invoice trackers up-to-date when requested, including filing POs and invoices
? Assist with Procurement processing, entry into the eProc system, and eProc tracker updates as and when requested
? Assist with adding members to iTools.
? Assist with adding members to the Programme Ensemble workspace sites.
? Provide cover for the team e.g. holidays, training, sickness; and ensure cover is in place for your own absences.
? Support the Invoicing process (raising invoices; updating the invoice tracker; filing milestone evidence)
? Assist with Quarter End Invoice Processing
? Ad-hoc queries and investigations of a finance nature (i.e. chasing up missing invoices)
? Familiarise with the Programme’s Finance month end Process to the stage of being able to on-board new Project Managers.

This role will be based in Glasgow. Local candidates preferred.
